Ai-Fi Central

2.0 Alpha/Demo Release

  1. The SecureEmail binding works well with gmail. For outlook, it needs a separate confirmation from user's regular email client and sometimes causes delay before SecureEmail is able to work fully. For other email accounts, you may encounter some difficulties, depending on how non-standard or how difficult the individual providers make it to be. Please go on our forum to record your success or difficulties so we can share or address those issues.
  2. The Ai-Fi Wallet currently is for creating and storing the key pairs in supporting various Ai-Fi functions taking advantage of the Krypton Tokens in the Ai-Fi Incognito Cloud. Its capability in transacting cryptocurrencies is very limited. The charges on various Ai-Fi services have not been implemented. For safekeeping users' digital assets (email address binding and key storage) and pseudo-IDs, Ai-Fi.net automatically distributes to our Beta participants a required amount of Stellar XLM cryptocurrencies for free to kick things off.
  3. The IP anonymizing routing is not yet integrated. Two candidate schemes are under consideration: Tor or I2P-Zero. Currently we are leaning toward Tor and having plan to off some Ai-Fi services as Tor Hidden Services.
  4. The SmartHome and RemoteDesktop have been integrated into the Ai-Fi platform with limited usability and documentation. The SmartHome is based on the Open Source Home Assistant with very little customization for the Ai-Fi environment. The Remote Desktop works, but its running configuration is not for mere mortals. Both will be better supported in the follow-on releases.
  5. SecureEmail binding is only for a single email address. It will be extended to serve multiple mailboxes soon.
  6. Ai-Fi Central utilizes pop-up to inform users on various concepts and features. If the iOS system is set with very large Text Size, some pop-up may be oversized and block the view of the content behind it.
  7. If the Dark mode is selected, some of the display and data entry screen may be "white on white" and difficult to see.
  8. Krypton Tokens currently support very limited administrative functions. It only supports Create and Open. Rename/Clone/Delete/Backup are planned.

Ai-Fi Desktop for Windows

2.0 Beta

  1. The import/export functions need detailed documentation.
  2. This Windows application relies on its the Ai-Fi Central on your mobile phone for authentication and authorization support. While this application is running, the Ai-Fi Central app will be tied up on the "black screen" in the foreground. It wastes power and stops all other iOS apps from running in the foreground. This will be fixed and made more efficient in later releases.

HomeServer

2.0 Beta

  1. If the Internet connection is through a Wi-Fi router which has multiple channels, the switch over into a different channel when the primary one fails is not automatic and needs administration involvement.
